Welcome, I’m Jeanie Christian (JJ), owner of Senses Wellness, Spa and Salon. In 2021, I knew I wanted to create a place for my clients to come and indulge in selfcare practices where they never felt rushed. I started in 2017 with a dream and have slowly worked my way to where we are now. The name Senses is intentional because from the moment a client enters the doors until they exit, we aim to please all the senses. It’s all about an experience and peaceful environment for you to unwind, relax and simply be, that way you can connect to yourself again. Senses Wellness, Spa and Salon offer holistic esthetic services, as well as hairstyling services from two of the most dedicated, personable and authentic cosmetologists in Tupelo. I am honored to have such a caring and detailed oriented solo esthetician as my right hand. Her passion for her practice is unmatched, and I am honored to say, we LOVE helping you find confidence in your own skin.

Madison Baker

She’s one of Senses’ amazing stylists and a true hair magician! Madison specializes in all things hair with a special affinity for intricate cuts and challenging colors. She also loves a good curly-cut!

“I want my clients to know that my goal is always to show up as authentically as possible. One of the ways you can truly express your character is through your hair and there’s nothing more authentic than that.”

Fun Fact About Me: “I have a 14 year old chinchilla named Kenny that I’ve had for 8 years now! He really is the best boy in the world!”

Bailey Shepperd

She’s one of Senses’ amazing stylists and your hair’s favorite hype girl!

Bailey is a loving mother above all, but she specializes in color corrections, keratin bond extensions, REDS and anything from copper to bright vivid colors!

Bella Gates

She’s one of Senses’ lovely estheticians and the true glow behind your skin’s dreams!

Bella specializes in custom facials, dermaplaning and acne treatments.

JJ specializes in a holistic approach and “hands on” intentional facials; from custom, bamboo, Gua-Sha, Lymphatic and Buccal, her hands are her tools.

“I prioritize my focus to calm the nervous system. Each client is a connection to me, a form of energy exchange to release the weight of the world, so that you can receive the best possible results from the treatment.”

Fun Fact About Me: “Facials are my true peace, but I have just as many sugaring clients as I do facial clients. My sugaring gals are extra special to me. I strive to help ease the nervous system and take my undivided time with each client.”
